Hello everyone, it's been awhile. This journal is just an update sort of thing, in regards to my activity and such.

About my commissions

Anything on my to-do list (which is here, by the way) WILL be finished. When? Yes.
Seriously though, I do not plan on completely disappearing without finishing everything that I owe people. I'm constantly stressing over the fact that I have so many things that I owe that I've not even started. I've had basically no motivation to do anything for the last... 2 months? At least. More on that in a bit. Before that though, there's really no excuse for me to be taking so long.
After I finish my to-do list, I'm not planning on doing any more commissions. As of now, my commissions are indefinitely closed. I feel awful about my current list and how unprofessional I've been with it and I've decided to just completely stop them. I might reopen them in the far future, but definitely not soon.

About my activity, mental health

I haven't been active for a long time... honestly I shouldn't have disappeared like that. At first, it was because I was busy with life in general, I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life and such. After a while, I just stopped checking in for months at a time. There's really no excuse for it. I'm not going to try to explain it either. Just know that I feel awful about disappearing, haha.
Around 2 months ago, my boyfriend of nearly 5 years who I am still very much in love with, broke up with me. I know, I know, I'm only 18, there's no way I could actually be in love with him. I'm really, really broken up about it, and I'm still not really ready to talk about it. Since then, I've had essentially no motivation to do anything, even things I enjoy doing. I'm not going to say 'hey, this really horrible thing happened to me, so that means I'm allowed to do whatever I want and I don't have to finish these commissions', because that would be stupid and incredibly unprofessional.

About the future of my account

Recently, I've had multiple crises that have really made me consider completely giving up the whole art thing. I used to LOVE drawing, being creative, showing people my art... but right now? It upsets me to say this, but I haven't been able to sit down and draw anything without thinking that I'm wasting my time. Hopefully, once I find a job and I have some sort of purpose in life, I'll be able to enjoy it again. I still draw occasionally, and I still think drawing is a great way to express myself and relieve some stress, but I haven't been able to finish anything I've started. I will still use this account, I'll still post every so often, but I don't think I'll ever be as active as I used to be.

About my cat

This actually isn't super important for y'all to know, but I got a kitten around the end of May. She's the actual best and worst cat ever. I'll show y'all pictures of her if you're interested.

The easiest way to contact me right now is through Discord. I'm almost always online and I respond near instantly if I'm not sleeping.
